Summer Library study space provision

For the duration of the summer, when the Main Library building will be inaccessible to the public, the Library has secured dedicated study space for students and staff of the University. Below is a table outlining where and how many spaces are available, with opening hours and details of additional services, where available.

From May 27th additional study rooms on campus (over and above those listed below) can be booked by Library staff for group study only, and for a minimum of two persons. If you have a requirement for a study room please either email library staff at outlying@st-andrews.ac.uk  and provide us with the date, time, how long you require the room for (i.e how many minutes or hours), and the number of persons for the booking (minimum 2 persons). Alternatively you can speak to a member of library staff. Bookings can be made through St Mary’s Library staff during the hours of 9am-5pm and can only, at this stage, be taken for the same or the following day.
